Future Problem Solving Co-Chair

Description:

If you love problem solving and presentations, this is a great position for you. We're looking for a Co-Chair for Future Problem Solving Club, which will mainly be run by Interlake High School students. Their information is at Future Problem Solvers (FPS) Mentorship Information 202409.pdf 


We will need 2 Parent Co-Chairs to help them communicate with the PTSA and School for classroom use, collecting money, driving student signups, and notifying the PTSA to update any club information, etc.

Responsibilities

Work with the co-lead to: 

  1. Work with PTSA Marapod Admin to setup Marapod registration.  
  2. Work with PTSA webmaster to setup the PTSA webpage and update the Club overview. 
  3. Follow up with PTSA VP Club & Memberships for building use forms.  
  4. Work with PTSA Treasurer to setup up material fee collection on GiveButter.  
  5. Work with the high school volunteers to see whether they need parent volunteers to come every week or they can find a teacher to help host it every week.  
  6. Make sure students (G4-G5 only) are picked up by their parents at the end of each session. Could consult with PTSA and see how that works, by assigning registered parents a weekly shift.
